Comments are enabled on WordPress posts and pages by default. You can change the default for new posts or pages, as well as enable\/disable comments on posts or pages you\u2019ve already published.<\/p>\n

You can change the defaults for new posts or pages on the Settings -> Discussion screen.<\/em><\/p>\n

To hide comments on the specific page go to \u201cWP-admin > Pages\u201d<\/em> and click the \u201cquick edit\u201d<\/em> link. You will see the \u201cAllow Comments\u201d checkbox (fig. 1):<\/p>\n

You can do the same in the Page\/Post Adding\/Editing interface. Simply check the \u201cDiscussion\u201d checkbox in Screen Option \u2013 corresponding \u201cDiscussion\u201d box will appear (fig. 2):<\/p>\n
